Music Education Concentration is designed to meet the needs of those who wish to be certified to teach music and music appreciation to students of various ages.

 

This program is suitable for educators who wish to have knowledge of and understand the principles of music and music education. Learning from this course, you will have a solid understanding of the four major components of music education.

Admission Requirements

  • Earn a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Show proficiency in English (TOEFL or IELTS scores) or take the English Admission Examination for Graduate Program conducted by the University

Application Procedure

  • Complete an online application form at https://www.grad.au.edu/apply-online

  • Submit the required documents as required by the Program (to be notified)

  • Remit fees for interview and English Proficiency Test (in case of taking the English Admission Examination by the University

Program Duration

  • A candidate may graduate with the minimum period of 2 years (Track 1) and 2 years and 1 semester (Track 2) and may extend to a maximum of 5 academic years.
