A Master of Science in Food Biotechnology program offered by Assumption University of Thailand provides students with the knowledge and skills to create innovative food products and processes using biotechnology. The program's duration is 1-2 years, and it is full-time.

Eligible students who graduated from AU and MOU members may receive a 50% scholarship on all tuition fees. Graduates of the program can pursue a range of careers in the food industry, including research and development, quality control, and regulatory affairs, or pursue doctoral studies to further their academic careers.

Qualifications for Admission

Candidates are required to hold a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Biological Science, Biotechnology or related fields.
Candidates who do not hold the degree as specified will be requested to enroll in foundation courses.
Candidates must have earned a CGPA of at least 2.5 on a scale of 4.0.

Entrance Requirements

A completed application form
Official transcript of the previous university attended (1 copy)
Bachelor's degree certificate (1 copy)
Citizen identification card and residence registration (1 copy) - for Thai applicants
Passport (1 copy) - for Non-Thai applicants
Three (1x1.5 inches) photographs (formal attire, not in graduation gown)
Recommendation letters from either former instructor or current
employer (2 letters)
Statement of purpose. The 1 A4 page essay should state your
motivation, interest and expecting goal.

Note : All documents must be endorsed with signature and submitted in person within the last day application period, otherwise the application will not be considered and the applicant will not be allowed to sit for the Admission interview.

Exemption

The AU English Proficiency Test can be exempted depending on which of the following conditions you satisfy.

a TOEFL score of (iBT) 90 or (P) 575 or an IELTS (Academic) score of at least 6.5 (Validation: Two years)
a Bachelor's degree or a higher degree from native English speaking countries (e.g. USA, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand)
